When is the last time you enjoyed a cassoulet whilst sailing up the East River? Never? Well, we have great news for you. On this night, we will make all your dreams — namely, feasting on the soul of Languedoc-Roussillon cuisine on a boat — come true! Yes, that's right, on board Harbor Lights, celebrity chef Paul Liebrandt will prepare a super giant-sized cassoulet. His interpretation of cassoulet is a shrimp-based bean stew. Your taste buds will be in heaven but so will your feet, as you'll dance the night away to the infectious tunes of Brooklyn's finest Balkan jazz funkmeisters, Slavic Soul Party, and DJ Nancy Whang (DFA records), whirling down the river past France’s iconic gift to America, the Lady Liberty herself.
$20 including cruise, cassoulet and music.
Doors open at 6:30 PM. The boat departs promptly at 8:00PM.
